On August 10, 2010 Steven Pedigo along with Kevin Barbier, and David Fakouri OSEI Corporation associates went to Pass Christian Harbor to alert the harbor master to the fact that Senator Gollot had authorized a clean up of the oil in the Harbors large marsh area on the north side of the harbor.
-
-
The Harbor master pointed out there was more and more oil coming into the harbor
-
-
The Harbor master asked if OSE II could be applied to an area where the BP boom had separated, allowing oil into to an area that had some sensitive equipment.
-
-
The OSEI associates set up the equipment and handed over the sprayer and the OSE II so it could be applied
-
-
The oil was thin enough that as OSE II was applied the oil started breaking up immediately and was detoxified in minutes, the adhesion properties were reduced, the fire hazard was eliminated, and the oil was caused to remain floating until it was converted to CO2 and water.
